2 Tbs gelatin---2 cups conf. sugar---1/4 tsp salt ---2 tesp. vanilla, water------dust heavly a 9x7 in pan with conf. sugar. mix gel. with 1/2 cup cold water. set aside til it mixs. In large pan combine sugar and 1/2 c water heat til sugar disolves. /add gel. to this and bring to a booil.remove from heat,pour into mux bowl and let cool until only warm. With mixer beat this until soft, shiny and double in volume. Pour into sugar dusted pan, spread eavenly with a spatula.allow to cool. cut into smallsquares, roll them in sugar and there you are. Enjoy
