What colors should I paint my walls? I have the Calvin Klein bamboo bedding collection.?
I live in a very small apartment and need to repaint my walls. What colors will match nice with my bedding, and flow through the hallway and kitchen yet not make the place look small. I want the ceiling, trim, windows, and doors painted white.
Color is such a personal choice, and there won't truly be any right or wrong answers here. The good news is that you can always repaint, and change bedding.
For now pick a color in the bedding that you enjoy anyway, match it and paint that. Certainly it may not look good to you to paint a predominant color in the bedding,,,IE: Olive green, but it's not Rocket Science.
After applying thousands of gallons of paint, I've learned one thing. The customer is always right,,,even when they aren't.
I suggest getting a color chip booklet, about $25. In it, look for the colors that most closely match those in the bedding. BTW you need not have mentioned the designer. It makes very little difference.
Then buy small cans, 1/2 pint perhaps? Of the bedding colors, paint a small patch of those, live with them for awhile, and decide what feels best to you.
Choice of color is like a choice of political party, or a religion...Only you can know what FITS you.

Bamboo Kitchen Cabinets - a Review of Bamboo for your Cabinets
A great looking product is the first thing most people want to see. We all want to live responsibly, but don't really want to give up the great appearance of the traditional hardwoods that most of our furniture is created from. Once cut and used in a finished furniture or cabinet piece it maintains above average dimensional stability, meaning that it doesn't warp or shrink over time or under load as well. This results in the continued like new fit and finish. This gives rise to the nickname of green steel.
California is a popular area for the manufacture and sale of bamboo products. But as the general population has become increasingly sensitive to trying to maintain a sustainable lifestyle, it has become easier to find bamboo cabinets and other furniture elsewhere in the country. For example, there are retail outlets other major cities like Chicago and New York.
If you are looking for a custom design there are several companies that will design custom bamboo cabinets for your kitchen. For an almost custom appearance but at a lower cost there are companies who sell modular units in sizes to fit most homes.
Bamboo cabinets can be one of the highlights of your home. These kitchen cabinets are attractive and you can get them in a variety of shades. The wood is durable so they will last for a long time, in spite of the fact that they come from a sustainable resource.
