if an aluminum bar is cut in half what is the density of each half compared to the original density of the bar?

please help. im so confused.

density is the same.
you have only changed the size.
if a metal is to heavy to float on water and you then cut it in half. It is now only half the weight it was to start with. But you would still not expect it to float on water just because it only half the weight. this is because the density of the metal is the same
